An entity is an object monitored by the Change Monitor in the CCDB. This object can be an CA IDMS data dictionary (IDD) object like a dialog or a map. Normally, CCDB entity descriptor records for IDD entity occurrences are created automatically by CA Endevor/DB the first time the Change Monitor encounters the monitored entity-type.
