Informative--A message with a severity code of I is an informative message. Informative messages are for your information only. No remedial action is required.
Warning--A message with a severity code of W is a warning message. A warning message tells you why your command cannot be carried out. Suggested remedial actions are listed for these messages.
Error--A message with a severity code of E is an error message. When CA IDMS DQF encounters an error condition (usually syntactical), an error message will appear on your screen. Error messages report erroneous and conflicting data that requires action.
This chapter lists the code for each message along with an explanation for each one.
