Accessing Information Screens

To access information screens (cross-reference or detail), you can select options from second level menus or you can transfer directly.

In an CA IDMS DQF session, you can select options from the CA IDMS DQF menus and specify entity names and version numbers. All information screens are accessible by selecting options from those listed on the menu.

Another method of accessing information screens is to enter combination codes that allow direct transfer between screens; that is, you can jump directly to any information screen from any other screen by using a combination code (code.code).

This chapter includes several typical sequences of screens which illustrate the use of menus and combination codes.
