z/VM—Central Version (CV)

To execute IDMSRADM in CV mode, modify the local mode JCL listed above as follows:

• Remove SYSJRNL and dictionary FILEDEF commands
• Identify the DC/UCF system to be accessed by IDMSRADM using the CVMACH and CVNUM SYSIDMS parameters

Runtime Parameters

IDMSFD references the SYSIDMS file, a file in which you can specify parameters that describe physical requirements (such as DMCL or dictionary to access), runtime parameters, or operating system-specific file information.

Creating the SYSIPT File

To create the SYSIPT file, enter these CMS commands:
