Database administrators can code Data Description Language (DDL) statements and submit these statements to the schema compiler or the DDDL compiler and create non-SQL defined records.
In this manner, the DBA creates all the underlying structures, taking full advantage of the tuning options available when the schema compiler is used directly.
The definitions of non-SQL defined records cannot be displayed through ASF, nor can these records be categorized through CA-ICMS. The DBA can make the records available to ASF so that they can be used as sources for views.
