This chapter presents an overview of the CA ADS Trace organization and the PF keys. It then describes a typical session, including compiling the traced dialog, executing the dialog, replaying the trace, and removing the trace code.
CA ADS Trace performs two important functions&mdash.building the trace statements into the source code of the processes in a dialog, and replaying the trace after the dialog is executed. The following diagram outlines these functions.
