Development of Effective Design

There are a number of ways to approach the design of an CA ADS application. This chapter provides information that may be useful to those involved in the development stage of an effective design. This chapter also presents information on how data is defined and stored in the CA IDMS/DB environment.

Note: The procedures presented in this manual represent one possible approach to a design and should be used as a guideline. Application developers must determine their system's specific needs and the design procedures that will best meet those needs.
