CA Harvest SCM clients including Workbench, Agent, and Command line of a previous release must be at same level to be able to connect with a later release of CA Harvest SCM server.
Example:
You can use CA Harvest SCM r12.5 workbench and agent to connect with the r12.6 server.
You cannot use the r12.5 workbench and r12.6 agent together for a check-out operation on a r12.6 server.
Both the clients must be of the same release, that is r12.5, to have a successful connection with the r12.6 server. However, we recommend you to upgrade to the latest client and agent for better results.
When you access the Harweb with Oracle iPlanet web server on the Solaris platform, the server crashes. We recommend you to install all the prerequisites and patches on the Solaris Sparc machines (per the Oracle Sun recommendations).
