Install Harweb for 64-bit WebSphere on AIX and Linux x86

For installing Harweb for 64-bit WebSphere on AIX or Linux x86, perform the following steps, after you install the Web Interface:

For AIX:

Follow these steps:

  1. Insert the Web Interface installation media into your UNIX or Linux computer drive.
  2. Mount the drive if necessary.

    The following instructions use /cdrom as the mount point.

  3. Change to the directory containing the Web Interface files. 
    cd /cdrom/Harweb/AIX
  4. Copy etpki_aix64.tar.gz to a temporary location and install it as a root user.
  5. Copy the 64-bit library files from <HARWEB Installation folder>/WEB-INF/libaix64 to <HARWEB Installation folder>/WEB-INF/lib
  6. Add <HARWEB Installation folder>/WEB-INF/lib folder to LIBPATH before starting the server.

For Linux:

Follow these steps:

  1. For Linux x86, copy the 64-bit library files from <HARWEB Installation folder>/WEB-INF/liblinux64 to <HARWEB Installation folder>/WEB-INF/lib
  2. Restart WebSphere.
