Move from MySQL to SQL Anywhere Audit Database on Windows
You complete the following steps to move from a MySQL database to a SQL Anywhere database.
Note: The following procedure applies to the Windows environment.
Follow these steps:
- From the Central Configuration Manager window, stop the SIA, and open the SIA Properties dialog.
- Navigate to the Configuration tab.
- In the Audit Database Configuration area, verify that the check box labeled "Write server audit information to specified data source" is selected.
- Click the Specify button to open the Select Database Driver dialog.
- Select the option SQL Anywhere (ODBC) because you want to point to the SQL Anywhere Audit database that you created previously.
- Click OK.
The Select Data Source dialog opens.
- Navigate to the Machine Data Source tab and select the SQL Anywhere Audit database that you want to use as the source for writing the BusinessObjects Enterprise server audit information.
- Click OK.
The Connect to SQL Anywhere dialog opens.
- Specify the password for the BusinessObjects Enterprise Account User (that you created in previous procedures).
- Click OK.
The BusinessObjects Enterprise environment is updated to point to the new Audit database.
Upon successful completion, CCM displays the message "Auditing database setup completed!”.
- Click OK.
You return to the Server Intelligence Agent Properties dialog.
- Click OK.
You return to the Central Configuration Manager window.
- Start the SIA by clicking the Start button in the toolbar.
