Install JDBC Drivers and Data Sources on the Workpoint Cluster

This procedure describes how to install JDBC API support server cluster connections to the Microsoft and Oracle SQL database.

Microsoft: XA data sources with Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) manage distributed transactions. To enable a specific user to participate in distributed transactions with the JDBC driver, assign the SqlJDBCXAUser role on the master database to the user that you create for the WDPDS database.
Oracle: When an Oracle database server hosts CA GovernanceMinder databases, install JDBC drivers on the WebSphere Application Server. XA data sources manage distributed transactions. To enable a specific user to participate in distributed transactions with the JDBC driver, assign the SqlJDBCXAUser role on the master database to the user that you create for the WDPDS database.
