Communication between CA GovernanceMinder and CA IdentityMinder

Once you configure integration between CA IdentityMinder and CA GovernanceMinder, the two systems communicate using the following:

CA GovernanceMinder Connector for CA IdentityMinder
A special type of connector that automatically synchronizes the privilege data between CA IdentityMinder and CA GovernanceMinder. By using this connector, you can import data from CA IdentityMinder to CA GovernanceMinder or export data from CA GovernanceMinder to CA IdentityMinder.

Continuous Update
This feature allows you to leverage CA GovernanceMinder capabilities to support day-to-day identity management operations. Any changes made in CA IdentityMinder are updated immediately in CA GovernanceMinder.
(Optional) Continuous Export
This feature allows you to send any changes made in CA GovernanceMinder to CA IdentityMinder immediately, instead of doing a full export operation after numerous changes are made to a role model.

Note: All of these communication features update the CA GovernanceMinder Master configuration.
