DATASET_INDEX (Index Data Set)

The Indexspace Data Set table represents a physical disk allocation used by an indexspace (DATA_STORE_INDEX).

It records:

• Free page frequency (FREE_PAGE_FREQ)
• Free space percentage (FREE_SPACE_PCT)
• Primary allocation quantity (PRIME ALLOC)
• Secondary allocation quantity (SECOND ALLOC)
• Allocation unit (UNIT_ALLOC)
• Partitioning data set number (PART_NUMBER)
• Sequence (SEQ) within the indexspace (DATA_STORE_INDEX)

The Indexspace Data Set table is maintained by the DSD Detail Entry Point Data Store option.
