Intersection-related objects go between or across the data and processing objects. They are either created for you as part of model creation or entered through View Maintenance, the Detail command, or the Entity Life Cycle Diagram. The following table gives the details:

The most important of the intersection objects are the views. Created through view maintenance, views specify the data that can be used by a given process. Only those data objects specified in a view of a process can be used by that process (in an action diagram, for example).
