Create a Target Configuration

Creating a target configuration is the second step in building an application. Target system implementation is a process for developing an application on one operating environment and executing it on another. Using this process, you can prepare a single CA Gen model for use on many different platforms.

Follow these steps:

  1. Press the F1 function key from the main menu.

    The Target Configuration screen appears.

  2. Enter the configuration details. Optionally, you can modify the Pathway parameters, compiler options, and location details. Defaults have been provided for these settings. If you want to modify the default options, perform the following tasks:
  3. Press F4 to save the target configuration.

The target is configured with your settings.

Note: The Setup Tool configures certain Pathway parameters based on the number of servers being installed.
