Before installing CA Gen Studio, review the following considerations:
CA Gen Studio is implemented on the Java-based Eclipse Workbench and is written in the Java programming language.

CA Gen Studio is built on the Eclipse Workbench foundation and requires no additional Eclipse installation packages.
The underlying Eclipse Workbench supports execution on non-Windows platforms. However, CA Gen Studio runs only on the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
To use Web Service Access Designer with Adobe Dreamweaver, install Adobe Dreamweaver before installing CA Gen Studio because CA Gen Studio installs the Web Service Access plug-in in Adobe Dreamweaver.
