Start the Demo Program on Windows or UNIX

Follow these steps:

1. Type the following at a command prompt:

   apidemo for local and remote Encyclopedia read-only API

   apidemow for Workstation API (statically linked)

   apidem2w for Workstation API (dynamically linked)

   upddemo for local and remote Encyclopedia Update API

2. Press Enter.

   The Main Menu opens. A sample menu is shown next.

   4 - Subset Functions
   5 - Checkout Functions
   6 - User / Group Functions
   7 - Authorization Functions
