Recommendations

Validation of input names and permitted values is done as specified in the metamodel. To avoid the possibility of updating properties with invalid data, the following procedures are recommended:

• Run model validation after running the Update API against a model in an encyclopedia.
• Run a consistency check after running the Update API against a workstation model.
