Automatically Generating a New Model

Generate a new model to restore a deleted model or add a new model to the encyclopedia.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Toolset, select Model, New Model to create the new model.
2. Type the model name and select OK.
3. Before storing the model on the CSE, verify these settings on the Toolset:
   1. Select Options, Encyclopedia Selection, and verify Use Client/Server Encyclopedia is checked.
   2. Cancel the Encyclopedia Selection dialog, or if necessary, select Use Client/Server Encyclopedia, and select OK.
   3. Select Options, Encyclopedia Communications, and verify that Perform file transfers for encyclopedia options is checked.
   4. Cancel the Encyclopedia Communications dialog, or if necessary, select Perform file transfers for encyclopedia options, and select OK.
4. In the Toolset main window, select Model, Encyclopedia, Generate New Model.
5. In the Generate New Model dialog, select OK.
6. Log on to the Checkout Client.
7. The client opens an Upload box and updates a status bar.

When the model finishes generating, it opens the Encyclopedia Update Status Report.
