Verify that all models and subsets are checked in. Convert or delete any models in schemas earlier than the Second Prior Schema.

Back up your existing Gen software and databases.
Install the version of Oracle that is specified in the CA Gen Technical Requirements at http://ca.com/support.
Upgrade the existing Oracle databases to the Oracle release specified in CA Gen Technical Requirements at http://ca.com/support, using Oracle procedures.
