By User ID

If your database logon ID is different from the ID under which the Public Interface views were installed, you must use the qualified name. The qualified name consists of three parts:

• The database logon ID under which the Public Interface view was created
• A period (.)
• The view name

For example, use userid.ENTITY_TYPE where userid is the database logon ID under which the view ENTITY_TYPE was created. Synonyms can be created and used. This document uses the unqualified name.
