LAYOUTFILE Parameters

LAYOUTFILE supports the following parameters:

dsname(member)

Identifies the data set name and required member that contains the record formatting criteria, copybook. This is dynamically allocated. No JCL is needed to reference this dsname.

ddname

Functions similar to the dsname except the ddname refers to the job step's JCL ddname that contains the data set name and member.
