The SAVECOMP parameter directs CA FAVER to export compressed format KSDS files in their native compressed format.
Syntax
This parameter has no options.

Note: SAVECOMP requires that the DSSMSGDD DD statement must be present in your export and restore JCL. If a non-hardware compressed cluster is unloaded with SAVECOMP present, a return code 2 will be set. Also, when restoring a hardware compressed file, no parameters are needed, only the DSSMSGDD statement need be present.
