Restrictions

The following are restrictions for using comments as input:

• Comments cannot begin in column one.
• RESTORE must be the first statement in the job.
• Comments begin with a slash and asterisk (/*) and end with an asterisk and slash (*/).
• No continuation is allowed.
• Comments are not permitted after an EXCLUDE {AIX|PATH}.
