How DBD and DDN Work

CA FAVER writes a NOTIFY.RECOV command for every cluster that has these parameters specified. CA FAVER opens FVRDBRC and writes the following 80-byte records:

NOTIFY.RECOV DBD=(dbdname) DDN=(ddnname) -
  RCVTIME(yydddhhmmsst) -
  UDATA('FAVER RESTORE OF ddname')

CA FAVER creates a file containing the previous records for each cluster identified by CL=entryname, DBD=dbdname DDN=ddnname. The CA FAVER RESTORE jobstep pulls in the RESTORE DD for DSPURX00.
