This parameter instructs the reload process to apply additional checks to determine if CA EXTEND/DASD for VSE has compressed this data set. If this data set is in compressed format, the reload process will decompress it so that CA EXTEND/DASD for MVS can compress it using the improved techniques it employs.
This parameter applies only when reloading a data set created by CA FAVER for VSE. When reloading a data set created by CA FAVER2, this parameter is automatically put into effect.
