CA FAVER exports files that have been migrated by the DFSMShsm or HSM (Hierarchical Storage Manager). When the RECALL parameter follows the EXPORT statement, CA FAVER accesses the MCDS (Migration Control Data Set) to determine whether the migrated file is a VSAM cluster. If the file is a cluster, it is recalled and then included in the EXPORT file. CA FAVER supports both single and multi-cluster MCDS formats.
