How Adding/Updating an Object from Natural or Predict Affects CCIDs and Comments

When you allow CA Endevor SCM to control an object from Natural or Predict using the Add/Update Elements action, you can enter a CCID and comment. When you enter a CCID and comment, CA Endevor SCM sets the following:

If you manage a new element:

• Current Source CCID/Comment
• Generate CCID/Comment (if changed)
• Last Action CCID/Comment
• Source Delta CCID/Comment
• Component Delta CCID/Comment (if generated)

If you manage an existing element:

• Current Source CCID/Comment (if changed)
• Generate CCID/Comment (if generated)
• Last Action CCID/Comment
• Source Delta CCID/Comment
• Component Delta CCID/Comment (if the generate creates a delta)

Note: If you set the GENERATE ELEMENT option to N, the Add/Update Elements action does not set the generate or component delta CCIDs and comments.
