CA ERwin Data Modeler and Crystal Reports Shell Installation

If the operating system of the machine on which you want to install CA ERwin Data Modeler version 9.0 through 9.2 and Crystal Reports is either Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP1, you may encounter the following error:

If you receive this error, the installation will not continue. You can perform one of the following to resolve this problem:

• Upgrade to Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP2.
• Install CA ERwin Data Modeler version 9.0 through 9.2 and Crystal Reports Shell separately by downloading each application’s individual installation program.
• Install CA ERwin Data Modeler version 9.0 through 9.2 and then run the Crystal Reports installation from the install wizard.
