Start or Stop the ERwin ODBC Driver

Use the option on the Integrations tab of the Options dialog to start or stop the ERwin ODBC driver. When the driver is active, you can run SQL queries against the current model, using the CA ERwin Data Modeler Query Tool, or third-party reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, and Business Objects' Crystal Reports.

To start or stop the ERwin ODBC driver

1. Click Options on the Tools menu.

   The Options dialog opens.

2. Click one of the following buttons on the Integrations tab:

   Start ODBC Driver for this instance

   Activates the ODBC driver for the current modeling session.

   Stop ODBC Driver for this instance

   Stops the ODBC driver for the current modeling session.

   Click OK.

   Your changes are saved and the Options dialog closes.
