Specify an Alias for a View Source Table

Use the From tab in the View Editor to specify an alias name for a view source table in a physical model.

To specify an alias for a view source table

1. Right-click the view for which you want to specify an alias and click View Properties.

   The View Editor opens.

2. Click the From tab.
3. Select the source table for which you want to specify an alias, and enter an alternative name in the Alias box.
4. Click Close.

   The alias is specified and the View Editor closes.
