Roll Down and Denormalize Two Tables with a Transformation

You can roll down and denormalize two tables with a transformation.

Important! Once you apply the Two Table Roll Down transformation, it cannot be reversed. While in the current modeling session however, you can undo the action.

To roll down and denormalize two tables with a transformation

1. Select two tables connected by an identifying relationship.

   The Roll-Down Denormalization icon becomes active on the Transformations toolbar.

2. Click the Two Table Roll Down icon.

   The Table Denormalization Roll Down Wizard opens.

3. Follow the instructions in the wizard. Click Finish.

   A denormalized table is created based on the choices made in the wizard.
