Highlighting Relationship Lines

When you click a relationship line, the line becomes highlighted. This feature enables you to visibly trace the path of the selected relationship line from the parent to the child object.

When you left-click again anywhere on the diagram window, the highlighting disappears.

For relationships that involve multiple relationship lines (such as supertype/subtype relationships), only one line at a time (the selected line) can be highlighted.

The thickness or thinness of the relationship line depends on the current zoom factor. As you zoom in or out of your model, the thickness of a highlighted relationship line changes in proportion to the zoom factor.

The default relationship line color is set to gray.

Note: If you use a dark background color on your model, it may be difficult to see the relationship line highlighting.
