CA ERwin Data Modeler r8 includes support for full-text stoplists, which define a list of strings to omit from a full-text index. These are commonly used words that do not help in a full-text search. Full-text queries do not search on any strings in the stoplist. A stopword defines each string in the stoplist. Each word can be associated with a language. You must associate a stoplist with a full-text index to use the stoplist in queries. You can either attach a stoplist to the full-text index when you create it or alter the index later to add the stoplist.
