Draw a Line

Drawing objects enhance the appearance of your model and add meaningful graphic or text annotations. You can add a line to your drawing.

To draw a line

  1. Click Line on the Drawing Objects toolbar.
  2. Click where you want to start the line on the diagram window and drag to where you want the line to end. As you drag the mouse, an outline of the line displays.
  3. Release the mouse button.

You can add consecutive multiple lines by pressing the CTRL key before you click on the Drawing Objects toolbar. After you follow the last two steps above, when you click again in the diagram window, another line is created.

Note: You can define default settings for drawing objects including color and font settings by applying a theme using the Shape Editor.
