By default, the Model Explorer pane displays in your workspace. You can hide the Model Explorer pane if you do not want to see the ordered view of your model and its contents. The next time you open the model, the Model Explorer appears in the most recently saved size and position.
To display the Model Explorer, choose Model Explorer from the View menu. You can also close the pane by clicking on the close button in the upper right corner of the pane, or right-clicking on the pane and selecting Hide from the context menu.
To reverse this action, and display the pane again, select Model Explorer from the View menu.
