Define Teradata Display Format Options
You can use the Teradata Display Format Editor to create server display formats to associate with columns in a Teradata physical model.
To define Teradata display format options
- Click Target-Teradata, Display Formats on the Model menu.
The Teradata Display Format Editor opens.
- Select a display format and work with the following options:
Note: Click New
on the toolbar to create a new display format. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a very large list of display formats to quickly locate the one you want to work with.
- Name
-
Specifies the name of the display format.
- Value
-
Specifies the display format value.
- Generate
-
Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.
- (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want associated with the display format.
- (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the display format.
- (Optional) Click the Notes tab to view history information and view or edit user notes.
- Click Close.
The Teradata Display Format Editor closes.
