Define Schema Generation Trigger Options

To define schema generation trigger options

  1. Click Forward Engineer, Schema... on the Actions menu.

    The Schema Generation dialog opens on the Options tab.

  2. Select the name of the current option set and choose from the following options:

    ERwin Generated:

    RI Type Override

    Include either an RI Type Override trigger (if available) or CA ERwin Data Modeler-generated trigger in the generated schema for all RI options.

    Relationship Override

    Include either a Relationship Override trigger (if available) or CA ERwin Data Modeler-generated trigger in the generated schema for all RI options.

    User Defined:

    Include Table Override triggers in the generated schema. If you do not select any other options, Table Override triggers include the default CA ERwin Data Modeler-generated trigger code.

    RI Type Override

    Include RI Type Override trigger code (if available) in Table Override triggers in the generated schema.

    Relationship Override

    Include Relationship Override trigger code (if available) in Table Override triggers in the generated schema.

    Click Generate to start the schema generation process for forward engineering or alter script generation or OK to save the changes and close the dialog.
