Define DB2 z/OS Users
You use the DB2 for z/OS User Id Editor to define database users and their respective properties in a DB2 physical model.
To define DB2 for z/OS users
- Right-click a User Id in the Model Explorer and select Properties.
The DB2 for z/OS User Id Editor opens.
- Select a User Id and work with the following options:
Note: Click New
on the toolbar to create a User Id. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a large list of names to locate the one you want to work with.
- Name

Specifies the name of the user id.
- (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want associated with the user ID.
- (Optional) Click the Where Used tab to view where the user ID is used in the model.
- (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the user ID.
- (Optional) Click the Notes tab to view history information and view or edit user notes.
- Click Close.
The DB2 for z/OS User Id Editor closes.
