Add a View

You can add a view to a model to provide a subset view of a table.

To add a view

1. Click in the Toolbox and then click anywhere on the diagram workspace.

   A view displays on the diagram workspace. The view name area is active.

2. Enter a name for the view and press Shift+Enter.

   The view name displays above the view on the diagram workspace.

3. Click in the Toolbox, select the table you want to use as the source table, and click the view you just created.

   A view relationship is created between the source table and the view. You are ready to begin populating the view using the View Editor.
