Add a User-Defined Property to a Physical Object

You can define custom properties and assign them to different classes of physical model objects. These user-defined properties (UDPs) are properties that you create to document and notate the physical object classes.

To add a user-defined property to a physical object

  1. Open the physical property editor of the physical object for which you want to add a user-defined property.

The property editor opens on the UDP tab. The current user-defined properties assigned to the object are displayed.

  2. Click the Property Editor UDP Tab_User Defined Properties Editor Button icon.

The User Defined Properties : Physical dialog opens, where you can add, edit, or delete UDPs based on their class.
