Use the Filter Criteria Option

You can use the Filter Criteria option to narrow down the information displayed based on Properties, Categories, and Class when you create a new model or open an existing model. Properties contain all three properties that appear in the Extended Find and Filter dialog, which are Graphical objects, Graphical properties, and Read-only properties. Class displays one occurrence for each class node in the summary tree.

Note: The Filter option is only available from the Extended Find and Filter toolbar on the Summary pane.

To use the Filter option

1. Click Extended Find/Filter on the Action Log toolbar. This option is available on the Summary pane.

   The Extended Find and Filter dialog opens.

2. Click Filter Options on the Extended Find and Filter toolbar.

   The Filter Criteria dialog opens.

3. Select which Properties, Categories, and Classes you want to filter and click Filter.

   The filter selection is saved and the dialog closes.
