Verb Phrases
A verb phrase describes how two entities are related. You can create two types of verb phrases:
- Parent-to-child verb phrases describe how the parent is related to the child. In the first example below, the verb phrase states that “A STORE rents A MOVIE.”
- Child-to-parent verb phrases describe how a child entity is related to a parent entity. In the second example below, the verb phrase states that “A MOVIE is rented from A STORE.”
Note: You can enter parent and child verb phrases using on-diagram editing.
