The Key Groups tab in the Attribute Editor displays all the key groups, and identifies those in which the current column participates. Use the Key Groups tab to assign key groups to an attribute.
To assign attribute key group membership
The Attribute Editor opens.
Specifies the key groups to assign to the selected attribute. Select the check box for each key group that you want to assign to the selected attributed. The Key Group Membership option contains a toolbar that includes the following options:
Lets you specify to sort the list of key groups alphabetically, in reverse alphabetical order, or by index order.
Opens the Key Group Editor so you can view or modify the selected key group.
Specifies whether to display foreign keys in the list. Select the check box to include foreign keys in the key group list.
Attribute key group assignment is saved and the Attribute Editor closes.
Note: You cannot directly change attribute membership in a foreign key group. You must instead add or remove attribute members in the primary key of the parent entity from which the foreign key group migrates.
