You can use the Teradata Profile Editor to create a new profile that defines system parameters that a group of users can share in a Teradata physical model.
To define a Teradata profile
The Teradata Profile Editor opens.
Note: Click New on the toolbar to create a new profile. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a very large list of profiles to quickly locate the one you want to work with.
Specifies the name of the profile.
Specifies the Teradata database that this profile belongs to.
Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.
Specifies the number of bytes for the spool files.
Specifies the number of storage bytes allocated for temporary tables.
Specifies the cost profile.
Note: This property does not apply to Teradata 2.6.
The Teradata Profile Editor closes.
