Define Teradata Replication Groups

You can use the Teradata Replication Group editor to create and manage replication group definitions in a Teradata physical model.

To define a Teradata replication group

  1. Click Target-Teradata, Replication Groups on the Model menu.

    The Teradata Replication Group Editor opens.

  2. Select a replication group and work with the following options:

    Note: Click New New icon in property editors to create a new object on the toolbar to create a new replication group. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a very large list of replication groups to quickly locate the one you want to work with.

    Name

    Specifies the name of the replication group.

    Generate

    Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.

  3. Work with the following fields on the General tab:
    Entities

    Specifies the entities that are assigned to this replication group.

  4. (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want associated with the replication group.
  5. (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the replication group.
  6. (Optional) Click the Notes tab to view history information and view or edit user notes.
  7. Click Close.

    The Teradata Replication Group Editor closes.
