You can define a global and persistent (GLOP) data set in a Teradata physical model that uses Teradata 13 as the database. For more information on GLOP, see the Teradata documentation.
To create a global persistent data set
The Teradata Global Persistent Data Set Editor opens.
Note: Click New on the toolbar to create a new name. Use the Enter filter text text box to filter a very large list of global persistent data sets to quickly locate the one you want to work with.
Specifies the name of the GLOP data set.
Specifies the database to associate with the GLOP data set. Select a database from the drop-down list.
Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.
The Teradata Global Persistent Data Set Editor closes.
