This step is for all CA Dispatch installations.
CA Dispatch uses CAIRIM/CAS9 to perform product initialization processing. You must execute CAIRIM/CAS9 after each IPL or before starting CA Dispatch or CADDSPL for the first time after each IPL. Therefore, you must update the CAIRIM parameters to request initialization of CA Dispatch and supply the LMP key data.
CA Dispatch uses product initialization module DSINIT. It has two functions.
JES must be active when the CA Dispatch product initialization routine, DSINIT, is invoked by CAS9/CAIRIM. Therefore we advise against adding the CA Dispatch initialization parameter to any CAS9/CAIRIM procedure that is started with S CAS9, SUB=MSTR unless it has been ascertained that JES has been started and is ACTIVE prior to DSINIT being invoked.
Invoking the CAS9/CAIRIM CA Dispatch product initialization routine, DSINIT, prior to JES startup and initialization will result in the following message:
CADS017E DSINIT Unable to find JES2 version
The execution of the CA initialization procedure for CA Dispatch requires approximately 54 KB of CSA.
