Concurrent Copy is a function of DFSMS/MVS that eliminates prolonged outages of critical on-line data. The function lets you back up data while it is in use. Your data must be allocated on a DASD device attached to a 3990 Model 3 controller equipped with the Extended Platform feature, or a 3990 Model 6 controller.
