To recover a data set, the user must know the name of the data set and the volume serial of the archive tape volume on which it resides. The EXTRACT command is to be placed in the command input stream of the archive tape analysis utility. Place it immediately after the ANALYZE command (see Archive Tape Analysis Utility on how to specify and process the ANALYZE command). Specify ADSDM460 as the value to the EXITNAME parameter in the ANALYZE command to cause the EXTRACT utility to be invoked.
